Understanding Motivation
Said the motive is often interpreted in terms of encouragement. Urge or force is the soul and body movement to do.
So the motive is a driving force that moves people to act, conduct, and in perbuatanya it has a specific purpose.
Inevitably, every action taken by humans are always at the start with the motivation (intention). Then, like what the real sense of motivation?
To further clarify the discussion of the motivation, the following terms of motivation, according to some experts in human resources management, among others, namely:
* Understanding the motivation by Wexley & Yukl is a gift or evocation motifs, can also be interpreted to be the motive or state of things.
* Meanwhile, according to Mitchell’s motivation to represent psychological processes, giving rise, diarahkanya, and the persistence of volunteer activities are directed to a specific destination.

* McDonald chose the understanding of motivation as a change in power in a person who is marked by the effective encouragement and reactions to reach the goal. Motivation is a complex problem in the organization, because the needs and desires of each member organization is different from one another. This is different because every member of an organization is unique biologically and psychologically, and developed on the basis of different learning processes.
* Chung and Megginson cited by Faustino Cardoso Gomes, explained that the definition of motivation is the level of the work done by someone who is pursuing a goal and is associated with job satisfaction and job perfoman.
* T. Hani Handoko said that the motivation is the personal circumstances of a person who encourages the desire of individuals to perform certain activities in order to achieve the goal.
* A. Anwar King Mangkunegara, giving the sense of motivation to generate conditions that influence, direct and maintain behaviors that berubungan with the working environment.
* H. Hadari Nawawi defines motivation as a state that encourages or cause someone to do a deed or activity that take place consciously.
Other * again with Henry Simamora, according to the understanding of motivation is a function of individual expectations that a particular effort will produce a level of performance which in turn will produce the desired benefits or results.
* Soemanto generally defines motivation as a force of change marked by the effective encouragement and reactions of goal achievement. Because human behavior is always objective, we can conclude that the change of power that gives strength to the behavior of the purpose, has been going on in a person.
From the above notions of motivation, it can be concluded that motivation is a condition or conditions that encourage, stimulate or motivate someone to do something or activities that are done so that he can achieve his goal.
